What this site is
Articles on the topics that come up in my clinic and in my reading. Cardiovascular health. Longevity. Metabolic medicine. Sleep. The science of exercise. The daily habits that keep people well. Written for patients, not for colleagues. Assumes you are curious, not credentialed.
One article a week. Usually Sundays.
Who I’m writing for
Readers who want to understand their own body, not just be told what to do. People over 35 who have noticed that what worked at 28 doesn’t work the same way now, and want to know why. Adults who are tired of wellness hype and tired of being talked down to by their doctor, and are looking for a third way.
What this site is not
It is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for a conversation with your own doctor, who knows you and your history. If you are worried about a symptom, please do not replace that conversation with an article from the internet. Not this one, and not anyone else’s.
